The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service.

1. Information Collection and Use

In case Planndu is operated by a single independent developer. For data protection purposes, the data controller and processor is the same individual, responsible for managing and safeguarding user data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We only collect personal information that is necessary to provide and improve our service. The information we collect includes your name and email address, which you provide when you register for Planndu. You may update this information under your personal account settings at any time. We also collect aggregated, anonymous user data about the use of the app. We do not share or sell your personal information to any third parties, except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services include Google Play Service, Google Analytics for Firebase, and Firebase Crashlytics. Please refer to the privacy policies of these third-party service providers for more information on how they collect and use your personal information.


In case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our service, the time and date of your use of the service, and other statistics.

Automated Decision-Making: Planndu does not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you under Article 22 GDPR.


2. Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.


3. Location

We take the privacy of our users very seriously. In line with this, we want to assure you that we do not collect any information about your location. We do not track your location through your device's GPS, and we do not request access to your device's location services. We do not store any location data that may be associated with your account or your usage of our app.

We value your trust in providing us with your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. We work hard to protect you and Planndu from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information we hold. You're also welcome to contact us to ask for our confirmation whenever you feel concerned about how your personal information is being processed, where and for what purpose.


Disclaimer of Liability:

While we take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that no system is completely secure. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of your information. You use the Service at your own risk.


4.1. Data Retention Periods

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.


Account Data:

Active Accounts: We retain your account information (name, email, profile data) for as long as your account remains active.


Deleted Accounts: Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal compliance.

Backup Systems: Data may remain in our backup systems for up to 90 days after deletion from active systems.


User Content (Tasks, Notes, Files):

Active Content: Retained for as long as your account is active.

Deleted Content: When you delete content, it is immediately removed from active systems and permanently deleted from backup systems within 90 days.


Shared Content: If you have shared content with other users, your copies will be deleted, but other users' copies remain in their accounts.


Subscription and Payment Data:

Active Subscriptions: Retained for the duration of your subscription.

Payment History: Retained for 7 years to comply with tax and financial regulations.


Payment Card Information: We do not store payment card details; this is handled by our payment processors (Apple, Google).


Communication Data:

Customer Support: Support communications are retained for 3 years for quality assurance and dispute resolution.


Technical and Log Data:

Usage Analytics: Aggregated and anonymized usage data is retained indefinitely for service improvement.


Log Data: Server logs and error reports are retained for 12 months for security and debugging purposes.


Crash Reports: Retained for 12 months to improve app stability.


Legal Hold: We may retain data longer than specified periods when required by law, regulation, legal or to protect our legal rights.


Data Minimization: We regularly review our data retention practices to ensure we are not retaining data longer than necessary.


5. Your Rights

While Planndu owns the Planndu application's code, databases, and all rights, you retain all rights to your data. You have choices regarding the information we collect and how it's used. Planndu will never sell your personal data to a third party, and we will never share data with third parties without your permission. When absolutely necessary, Planndu uses third-party services and hosting partners who are GDPR-compliant. In such instances, we take essential security methods to guarantee that we comply with GDPR when sending and receiving data from third parties.


6. How can I delete my Planndu Account?

You can delete your Planndu account by following the App’s settings instructions. If you terminate your Account, any association between your Account and the information we store will no longer be accessible through your Account. We will stop providing products and/or services to you and delete your personal information as required by you.


7. Links to Other Sites

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.



8. Age restriction

Our service is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.


9. International Data Transfer

Planndu is based in Europe and United States. Your personal data is primarily stored on servers located in Europe and United States, operated by AWS/GOOGLE and others.


Transfers Outside the EEA:


If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries outside the EEA where data protection laws may be different from those in your jurisdiction.


Legal Safeguards for EU Data:


We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws through the following mechanisms:


Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): We use Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission for transfers of personal data to third countries (Commission Implementing Decision 2021/914).
