It\u2019s hard to believe, but it\u2019s been nearly a year since we started building Planndu, and what a journey it’s been. After months of development, feedback, and iteration, we\u2019re thrilled to say: Planndu is officially live!<\/p>\n
This blog will be our way of keeping you updated on everything Planndu, what we’ve achieved, what’s ahead, and lessons learned along the way.<\/p>\n
We started Planndu because we know what it\u2019s like to begin something with excitement, only to watch the motivation slowly fade.<\/p>\n
It happened while we were trying to build our own projects. We had the ideas, the energy, and the vision. But staying on track? That was the hard part. It’s easier to lose focus or get overwhelmed.<\/p>\n
So we decided to build the tool we couldn\u2019t find!<\/p>\n
From day one, we used Planndu to build Planndu. We used it to break down features, track bugs, and stay focused through long coding sessions. It reminded us of meetings, helped us plan our days, and even held our grocery lists when we were too deep in code to remember what we needed for dinner. Bit by bit, it kept us grounded, motivated, and moving forward, even when things got tough.<\/p>\n
Now it\u2019s more than just a productivity app, it’s built from experience, designed to support people who are building something of their own. Whether you’re working on a side project, launching a business, or simply trying to stay focused, Planndu is here to help you go from idea to execution, without burning out.<\/p>\n

In the beginning, we tried a bit of everything to get the word out SEO, keyword optimization, even running ads. Some things didn\u2019t work at all. We thought paid ads would bring in a flood of users, but they barely made a ripple.<\/p>\n
What really made a difference was something much simpler: sharing what we were learning.<\/p>\n
We started posting weekly blog posts and articles about productivity things we genuinely cared about. And slowly but surely, people started finding us. Within a few months, those posts were bringing in thousands of visitors a day, and our traffic has been growing ever since.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s still just the beginning, but we\u2019re excited about what\u2019s next and grateful for the support so far.<\/p>\n
One of the most important lessons we\u2019ve learned is the value of tracking feature retention consistently. By using Google Analytics, we uncovered areas where users were dropping off or simply not engaging with certain features. This gave us a clear direction some features needed improvement, while others weren\u2019t worth keeping at all.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s easy to get excited about building new things, but if users aren\u2019t finding value in them, they become distractions. Regularly measuring retention helps ensure you\u2019re investing time where it truly matters on the parts of the app that keep people coming back.<\/p>\n
We are already working on improving existing features such as the calendar, focus, and collaboration. Currently, Planndu is only available for Android. In the near future, we plan to expand to more platforms such as iOS and Desktop. We also want to add more integrations with other apps and do more collaborations.<\/p>\n
